I worked with Azar the other night. During the course of the evening, she inquired if I had ever heard of Plushies. "Plushies," I repeated. "Yeah, Plushies," she said with a smile. She got out of her booth and handed me a fetish magazine, which she was reading and pointed to an article titled, "Plushies."

Hmmmm . . . I thought. There was a cartoon drawing of a girl with a strap on, straddling a stuffed animal. I started reading the article below. The article explained that Plushies are people who have a fetish for stuffed animals. Specifically, they like to have sexual relations with stuffed animals. I couldn't believe what I was reading. I thought it must have been a joke, but Azar confirmed that this was a real fetish, and was becoming quite popular. There are even websites and e-mail groups where people can find out information and talk about their fetish.


The article went on to say that these people find great comfort and pleasure in their relationship with stuffed animals. I agree that giving a nice soft teddy bear a tight squeeze feels good when your feeling bad, but didn't this stop when you were 13 (if not younger) and I admit, I did hump my pillow a couple of times when I was younger, but I just can't imagine a 40 something, balding man, having sex with a teddy bear. Plushies claim stuffed animals don't talk back, they don't complain, they don't lie, there always there for you, etc.

The article also gave instructions on how to alter stuffed animals to accommodate your sexual needs and provided tips on how to clean your stuffed animals after a romantic evening. Azar said there is a company that actually sells a special cleaner for Plushies.

Fantasy Boys



At Fantasy, there are clerks that run the front desk and janitors that clean the booths, theatre, dressing room, and bathrooms. The clerk and janitors are all guys and most of them are youger . . . in their twenties.



I don't like to generalize, but the guys that are drawn to these jobs seem to be artists, anarchists, computer geeks (the hacker types vs. microsoft), punk rockers, and goths. They often wear all black and have multiple tats and piercings.



Unlike the dancers, the clerks and janitors are actual employees of Fantasy.


We seem to have a love/hate relationship with the clerks/janitors. I'm not sure if they resent us somehow , , , either because we make more money, or because they have to clean up after us and our customers. I suppose some of them get tired of dealing with the flaky dancers who don't show up for work or come in late. I sometimes wonder how they feel about us . . . if they think what we do has some redeeming quality, or if they think we are damaged goods.



At first, I thought the guys working at Fantasy might have chosen the job because they were sex positive and thought it would be a positive experience. Now that I've worked here for a while, I think it's more like they're working here because they have too many tattoos and piercings and this place tolerates their appearance.



The job is also fairly easy . . . as long as you do not have a strong aversion to cum, in addition to other bodily fluids. Well . . . and then there's the occasional freaky customer that you have to deal with or kick out and I don't think the job pays that well. So . . . maybe the job has some drawbacks, but you get to watch porn while you sit at the front desk.



There is a television monitor that sits on a shelf below the desk, which is out of the customers' view. There is also a camera on stage so when we are doing a show for a customer, the guys at the counter can watch us on the monitor if they want to. Fortunately for us, the picture is in black and white and you can't see much.



The guys also come back to the dressing room once in a while during their break to hang out and talk. Most of them smoke, too, and the dancers and staff are constantly bumming cigarettes and lighters off each other. Some girls walk around half naked, if not totally naked, in front of the guys in the dressing room. Most of the guys seem a little desensitized, or act like they don't care. There are those times though, when a girl is looking particularily hot, and they can't hide that they're turned on. They usually end up walking away quickly.



Relationships between the staff and dancers are strongly discouraged at Fantasy. Sometimes there is sexual tension between staff and dancers and sometimes there's flirting or joking around, but no one dates.



A while back, one dancer confided in me that she and one of the clerks fucked on the counter in the dressing room bathroom. I also heard a story about two dancers who went out after work to meet their boyfriends. Later that evening, or should I say early the next morning, they all (including the two guys) came back to Fantasy and snuck back into the dressing room. They had been drinking and were feeling a little frisky. They all went on stage (at this hour, the peep show is closed), took their clothes off and started fucking. I guess the clerk working at the time, saw them all on the monitor and started watching them. When they were done, the guys left the stage, while the girls put their clothes back on. The clerk walked into one of the booths on stage and put his face to the tip slot on stage and told one of the girls that he could smell her. They got freaked out and left. No one ever found out about this.




Sometimes I feel bad for the things the clerks and janitors have to put up with. The other day, I was walking up to the front desk when I saw that there was a man and woman up there and they seemed to be having an argument. I decided to act like I was getting a drink from the water fountain so I could listen in on them. The woman told the clerk that the guy standing next to her owed her $20.00. The clerk looked puzzled. "Yeah, he stole $20.00 from me," she went on.

"You stole $20.00 from her?" the clerk asked the man.

"I don't know what she's talking about," the man responded.

The woman went on to say that she went into the video booth with the man and performed a particular service and that the man did not pay her the $20.00. I could tell the clerk could not believe what he was hearing. He told them both that they needed to leave right now . . . that what they did was totally illegal. The woman kept insisting that the guy pay her. The clerk stood up and pointed to the stairs and said, "You both need to leave right now before I call the police and don't ever come back here again."

They finally left.

I also feel sorry for the janitors because of the things they have to clean up . . . as well as the things they find. They often find carrots (in addition to other vegetables), used underwear, adult toys, etc. in the booths.

At least they have plenty of interesting stories to tell.

Syrenn says goodbye . . .

I am very sad to say that Syrenn has quit Fantasy.

I thought she might be back because she left some stuff in her locker, but I think she's gone for good.

Syrenn was one of the most beautiful and talented girls at Fantasy. She is an artist (singer, songwriter, etc.) and used to be part of the group, Diva Destruction, which is pretty big in the UK. She went to New York and L.A. for a while to try it on her own, but ended up coming back to Seattle. She has a new band now, but I can't remember the name.

She also has some talent as a photographer. One night, it was pretty slow so she did my makeup and took some pictures of me wearing her red wig (these are the pics in Pagan's Pics #2 above left corner). I gave her my blonde wig and took some pictures of her, too. We had a lot of fun. That was one of the last nights we worked together.

Sexy Girl

Mirror, Mirror

Dancers at Fantasy often communicate with each other via letters taped up on dressing room mirrors. The letters are usually about someone losing something, or accusing someone of stealing.

At The Lusty Lady, where there were about 50 girls working, there were always letters plastered on the mirrors. The letters there were not so much about items lost or stolen (although there were those, too), but were more along the lines of, "Hey, I want to go to Burning Man . . . can I hitch a ride with someone." The girls there always had something going on the side. Some girls had bands, others were artists (actors, painters, photographers, fashion designers, etc) and they would often post notes to invite everyone to their show.

I remember one dancer who was throwing a party to celebrate menstruation.

One time, there were several girls who came down with this nasty yeast infection. I was lucky enough to have escaped this. Many of the girls went to the clinic for this and posted notes on the mirror sharing the information their doctor gave them, along with suggestions on how to avoid getting it.

Dezyre

This is Dezyre. There are a couple of girls on the cast that I have not written much about. This is because I usually only work with Azar and Girl. Once in a while, Dezyre picks up extra shifts here and there so I am lucky enough to work with her.

Unfortunately, Dezyre is the only girl of color working at Fantasy right now. Well . . . I take that back. Azar is part Middle Eastern. Azar, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Dezyre is a very beautiful girl. She has been in the sex industry for a while now and I sense that it is getting to her a bit. She complains that she doesn't make as much as the white girls. She does not put up with much from the customers, and lets them now when they've gone too far. She has a bit of a temper and when a customer is being an ass on stage, you can hear her say, "Hey motherfucker . . . you think we like to show our ass up in here for free?" She is definitely someone you don't want to fuck with.

She also gets irritated with all the black men that snub her and get a show with a white girl or the guys on stage that ask her if there are any white girls working. I hate when this happens. I understand if a guy has a preference as far as race, but some guys can be really rude about it. I don't always know how to talk to Dezyre about this. Being white, I have never been subjected to this. I've had people snub me because of my breast size, but not because of my race. I wish I knew the right things to say. I always reiterate how beautiful she is and not to let the guys get to
her . . . that they are not always tactful in their response. I always feel like I sound lame and insincere.

I have always been attracted to exotic women, myself. The darker . . . the better.
